Murray's Creole Pub is set to open on December 12th, bringing new energy to Louisville's culinary scene at 1576 Bardstown Road in the Deer Park neighborhood.
Chef Lawrence Weeks, a James Beard semifinalist celebrated for his inventive Southern cooking, is behind this new venture.
The pub fills the former Pints & Union space, blending Creole flavors with the warmth of British pub culture, inspired by Chef Weeks’ journeys to London.
A heartfelt tribute to his great-grandfather and grandfather, the establishment channels family dreams into a dynamic gathering place.
The first floor invites guests to a laid-back, cozy pub atmosphere, while the second floor offers an elevated dining and cocktail experience with refined Southern-inspired dishes.
Dishes range from oysters and caviar to creative pub classics, aiming to foster connection and community.

The Keep Going Scholarship offers renewed hope for Black students in West Louisville by awarding $2,500 toward their educational goals.
Honoring the late Travis Nagdy, a beloved 21-year-old social justice advocate remembered for his rallying cry "Keep Going!", the scholarship captures his passion for justice.
Black students ages 17 to 24, living in West Louisville and enrolled in nonprofit post-secondary schools, can apply if they demonstrate social justice involvement.
Applications are accepted from December 1, 2025, to March 2, 2026, via the Community Foundation of Louisville.
West Louisville’s upward momentum includes major projects like a $40 million investment in the Russell Neighborhood Program and the expansion of Waterfront Park, anticipated to finish by late 2024.
These strides, paired with the Keep Going Scholarship, ignite fresh pathways for local youth to dream big and continue Nagdy’s legacy. Read More... |
