The Louisville Metro Police Department’s Second Division spread holiday joy to more than 55 local children during its annual Shop with a Cop event.

Supported by the Louisville Metro Police Foundation, Walmart, and dedicated community partners, the event took place at the Outer Loop Walmart.

Each child, paired with an officer, explored the aisles and chose up to $400 in gifts, including toys, clothing, and essentials.

Major Russell Miller highlighted the excitement and happiness as children realized the possibilities their shopping spree offered.

These special moments, he noted, help forge positive relationships between local youth and police.
