Excitement is building at Kentucky Kingdom with the announcement of the Flying Fox roller coaster, set to debut in 2026.

This new attraction will be the park’s first coaster since 2019, making Kentucky Kingdom the state leader in roller coasters.

The Flying Fox, designed by Vekoma, is a custom suspended family coaster welcoming guests as short as 38 inches, blending thrilling twists with accessibility for younger riders.

The ride stretches 1,380 feet, climbs to 65 feet tall, and hits speeds up to 37 mph during its 63-second flight over a lively Kentucky farmland scene.

Inspired by legendary local pilot Jeb Fox, the adventure begins in a red barn queue adorned with hand-painted art and playful audio.

The $14 million coaster joins a larger $33 million revitalization, which includes festive holiday events and new family attractions through 2025.

Current passholders can renew for 2026 to access Flying Fox, while new passes go on sale in November 2025.
