Louisville is gearing up for the 5th Annual BARKtoberfest this Saturday, September 20th, from 3 to 8 pm at PG&J's Dog Park Bar on Baxter Avenue.
The event features lively activities for both pets and people, including the crowd-favorite Stein Hoisting Contest at 4 pm, where participants can test their strength and keep a commemorative stein.
Pups take center stage at 5 pm during the Weiner and Small Dog Races, with prizes for top racers.
Guests can also try their luck at Pumpkin Bowling throughout the day or enter a raffle packed with local goodies.
DJ Phantom will provide music from 4 to 8 pm, and guests will enjoy swag from Yuengling and Shiner.
All proceeds support PBSF Dog Rescue, helping find loving homes for dogs in need.
