Adopt Me! Bluegrass Pet Rescue Urgently Seeks New Home Amid Impending Eviction

Adopt Me! Bluegrass Pet Rescue in Crestwood, Kentucky faces a pivotal moment as it must leave its main facility by December 31, 2025.

For over ten years, the organization has rehomed more than 7,000 pets and currently supports over 300 puppies annually.

This urgent move threatens the safety and future of hundreds of animals who depend on the rescue's work.

Diane Ernst, animal care director, underscores the crisis, warning that without a new space, vital adoptions could halt.

The team seeks a 4,000–6,000 square-foot facility in Oldham County or nearby communities to continue operations.

Megan Mickus, K9 manager, stresses that without a building, the organization can’t maintain its usual adoption rates.

Locals are encouraged to help by donating or offering leads on suitable properties, ensuring these lifesaving services remain available for animals in need.
