NuLu Hosts 15th Annual Kentucky Veterans Parade

On Saturday, November 8, 2025, the vibrant NuLu neighborhood in Louisville will proudly host the 15th annual Kentucky Veterans Parade, marking a significant milestone in honoring our nation's heroes.

 

This year's parade will commence at 11:00 AM, traversing East Market Street from Campbell to Hancock. The event is a collaborative effort between the Kentucky Veterans Parade and Celebration and the NuLu Business Association, reflecting the community's deep respect and appreciation for veterans.

 

Attendees can look forward to a variety of attractions, including a "Touch a Tank" display featuring military vehicles such as jeeps and an authentic tank. This interactive exhibit offers families and children the unique opportunity to explore these vehicles up close, capture memorable photos, and engage with veterans who operated them during their service.

 

In addition to the parade, NuLu's renowned local shops, art galleries, and eateries will be open, inviting visitors to experience the neighborhood's rich culture and hospitality. The NuLu Business Association has been instrumental in organizing this event, ensuring a seamless blend of celebration and community engagement.

 

As part of the 15th-anniversary festivities, the "Heroes Among Us" initiative will recognize fifteen distinguished veterans for their service and contributions. Community members are encouraged to nominate veterans for this honor, with all nominees invited to participate in the parade.
