Louisville Outreach for the Unsheltered Calls for Food Box Donations Amid Ongoing Need |
Community Urged to Support Neighbors Transitioning to Housing and Recovery |
Louisville Outreach for the Unsheltered (L.O.U.) is reaching out to the community for assistance in providing food boxes to individuals and families in need.
Despite the reinstatement of some SNAP benefits, many residents continue to face challenges.
Your support can make a significant difference for those new to housing, in recovery programs, or residing in temporary accommodations.
Each food box is designed to supply a week's worth of nonperishable items.
These boxes will be distributed to families awaiting emergency shelter, individuals in recovery facilities, and those who have recently secured housing.
To participate, please review the available slots and sign up to contribute.
A detailed "cheat sheet" is available to guide you on what to include in each box.
Thank you for your generosity and commitment to supporting our community.
For more information on how to get involved, visit the L.O.U. website.
Let's come together to ensure no one in Louisville goes hungry this season. |
