Honoring Travis Nagdy's Legacy Through Educational Support |
The Keep Going Scholarship stands as a beacon of hope for Black students in West Louisville, offering a $2,500 award to support their educational aspirations.
Established to honor the late Travis Nagdy, a 21-year-old social justice leader whose rallying cry was "Keep Going!", this scholarship embodies his enduring spirit and commitment to justice.
To qualify, applicants must be Black students aged 17 to 24, residing in West Louisville, and enrolled in a post-secondary nonprofit educational institution.
Demonstrated interest in social justice and advocacy is also a key criterion.
The application period opens on December 1, 2025, and closes on March 2, 2026, at 5 p.m. ET.
Interested students can apply through the Community Foundation of Louisville's website.
In recent years, West Louisville has witnessed significant community investments.
For instance, the Russell Neighborhood Program has seen a $40 million investment over three years, enhancing homeownership and small business opportunities.
