Hilltop Tavern Bids Farewell with 'Last Last Call' Event Sept. 27th

Clifton's Beloved Bar Hosts Final Celebration Before Closing Doors

Hilltop Tavern, a cherished establishment in Louisville's Clifton neighborhood, is set to host its 'Last Last Call' event Saturday Sept. 27th as it prepares to close its doors permanently.

Located at 1800 Frankfort Ave, the tavern has been a cornerstone of the community, offering a welcoming atmosphere and memorable experiences.

The farewell event promises an evening filled with nostalgia and celebration.

Attendees can enjoy food and drink specials, live music by The Uncommon Houseflies starting at 8 p.m., and Jello shots to keep the spirits high.

As Hilltop Tavern bids adieu, the owners are embarking on a new venture.

They plan to open Dive Bar in the space formerly occupied by The Hub, just down the road on Frankfort Avenue.

This new establishment aims to continue the tradition of providing a vibrant gathering spot for the community.

The Clifton neighborhood is experiencing a wave of new developments.

Recently, Enso, a Japanese restaurant blending traditional cuisine with Southern elements, opened at 1758 Frankfort Ave, adding to the area's diverse culinary scene.

Additionally, Witches Brew Coffee is set to open soon at 1813 Frankfort Ave, offering enchanting coffee blends and mystical teas in a vibrant, purple-themed setting.

As Hilltop Tavern closes this chapter, the Clifton community continues to evolve, welcoming new businesses while cherishing the memories created within its longstanding establishments.
