Local Organizations Collaborate to Beautify Louisville's Streets

On a beautiful afternoon, volunteers from the OSS Advocacy and Outreach Division, Age-Friendly Louisville, and Wesley House Community Services gathered to enhance the Preston Highway area.

The cleanup was part of the Brightside & WM Community-Wide Cleanup initiative, which took place on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

Participants worked diligently to remove litter and debris, contributing to a cleaner and more inviting environment for residents and visitors alike.

Wesley House Community Services, located on Preston Highway, has been a cornerstone in the community for over 122 years, offering essential resources such as childcare and workforce development programs.

Community members are encouraged to participate in upcoming events, including the Trunk or Treat at Feeders Supply on Preston Highway, scheduled for October 31, 2025, at 7:00 p.m.

These collaborative efforts underscore the community's commitment to maintaining and enhancing the beauty of Louisville's neighborhoods.
